body filter between postpone and write?

Hello,
I am trying to use limit_traffic_rate module (https://github.com/bigplum/Nginx-limit-traffic-rate-module) in an environment with multiple subrequests. Because the requests are serialized only at postpone filter, this module needs to register itself between postpone filter and write filter.

Is this understanding correct? Is there an easy way to achieve that?
