We are quite conservative at adding 3rd party modules into nginx  
base, sorry.  Though it may be good idea to add your module to the 
3rd party modules list at wiki, see here:


I believe there are at least couple of consistent hash modules 
there already (and memcached_hash[1] seems to be not listed there, 
while it's oldest consistent hash module for nginx as far as I
