proxy_cache_background_update and slice filter module

Hello,

It seems that proxy_cache_background_update  and slice filter module do not
cooperate well.
when proxy_cache_background_update and slice are both enabled, the variable
of upstream_cache_status will always be "STALE" rather than getting back to
"HIT" after the revalidation.
