GeoIP dependency on GeoIP Legacy databases?

Obviously enough, there are no plans to remove the geoip module, 
as legacy databases are still available to paying customers.

Likely at some point the geoip module will be adapted to work with 
new databases as well, though there are no certain plans yet.

Note well that there is the geo module, and databases in the CSV 
format can be easily converted to the format understood by the geo 
module.
