Переменная $remote_method не доступна в log_format ...

# strings `which nginx` | grep Server:
Server: nginx/0.3.20

В nginx.conf описание формата лог-файла:

log_format  main  '$remote_addr - $remote_user [$time_local] "$remote_method http://$host/$request_uri" $status '
                  '$body_bytes_sent "$http_referer" "$http_user_agent"';

# nginx -t
2006/02/22 12:26:16 [emerg] 43962#0: unknown "remote_method" variable
2006/02/22 12:26:16 [emerg] 43962#0: the configuration file /usr/local/etc/nginx/nginx.conf test failed

Это бага или фича?
