Can you please tell me that how much high traffic can the nginx server running at?

I've run nginx as a reverse proxy for videos at 380 megabits
continuously (380 in and 380 out). The limitation seems to be the OS
with interrupts or something past 380 megabit on the particular
hardware I'm using (core2duo), and the cpu usage is around 50% or so.
