Hi,

you can recompile the package for a Lenny for example :

 > aptitude install build-essential devscripts debian-keyring fakeroot
 >
 > dget http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/pool/main/n/nginx/nginx_0.7.59-1.dsc
 > cd nginx*
 > fakeroot dpkg-buildpackage
 > ls -l ../*.deb
