reverse proxy and keep-alive

 Hi list,

 I was wondering if Nginx can do keep-alive on proxy_pass (reverse 
 proxy).
 The wiki says:

    "It is an HTTP/1.0 proxy without the ability for keep-alive requests 
 yet."

 I'm curious about the meaning of "yet", does that mean it's a feature 
 that is currently being developed ?
