Hi, Since GeoIP community database was removed by Maxmind I wanted to
remove GeoIP from my nginx.conf file.

On running a start I get the following error:

Performing sanity check on nginx configuration:
nginx: [emerg] unknown "allow_visit" variable
nginx: configuration file /usr/local/etc/nginx/nginx.conf test failed
Starting nginx.
nginx: [emerg] unknown "allow_visit" variable
/usr/local/etc/rc.d/nginx: WARNING: failed to start nginx

So I ran:

cat /usr/local/etc/nginx/nginx.conf | grep "allow_visit"

with no result at all.

A web search produced nothing.

My system is 12.0-RELEASE-p3 FreeBSD 12.0-RELEASE-p3 GENERIC amd64

nginx: nginx-devel-1.15.8_4 freebsd port install

any pointers would help.

Regards,

Adam
