Have you sent/tested any other request to the sabre/dav through nginx?
And if so, could you share a result in from the nginx logfile.

Also, let's return back to the request:

At first look that's the problem with the application backend, i.e.
sabre/dav, but in any cases is there any chance to enable debugging log
as it's described https://nginx.org/en/docs/debugging_log.html, send
a request once again and share the log file.
