аналог %time в формате логов

Есть ли в nginx аналог %time, но начинающийся с '$' ?

$time_gmt не подходит, поскольку хочется видеть в логах локальное время, а на 
%time ругается -
the parameters in the "%name" form are deprecated, use the "$variable" instead

Если такой переменной нет, может быть можно добавить и назвать что-то вроде 
"$time_local" ?
