как и
      rewrite ^/news/((\d{2})+/)? /news/?year=$2 last;
вызывают замечательную ошибку

      2006/07/05 19:59:43 [emerg] 62282#0: directive "rewrite" in /usr/local/etc/nginx/nginx.conf:363 is not terminated by ";"

Это фича nginx?
