now for ip in the fastcgi backend i get an empty string
'ip': ''

current config:
         set  $addr  $remote_addr;
         if ($http_x_forwarded_for ~ "(^|,)\s*(\d+\.\d+\.\d+\.\d+)\s*$") {
              set  $addr  $1;
         }
