just a remark, django is framework, plone is cms. i would use plone,
it gives you a lot otb and there are a lot of cool extensions. but it
is probably the same as with any other cms. there are pros and cons,
and what is best it normaly comes down to personal preferences. if you
now php go with php framework, if you know python, try plone, if you
want to play with python frameworks here is a list: django, pylons,
turbogears, grok, repoze.bfg. from all this i perfer repoze.bfg its
increadibly well documented and is probably fastest framework around.
cool thing about python is that you can choose many python web
application and make them talk to each other using wsgi which is a
cool thing. so you use plone for what is good for and for other things
you can use some other tool. well wish you luck with your pick ...
