Tuning up Nginx on Centos

Hello,

I kindly ask all nginx experts for some advice with my situation.

I have following hardware setup:

2x Intel Quad Core Xeon 2.66Ghz
8G RAM
8x 2TB WD SATAII in RAID6 (11TB total)
1 Gbit Uplink
CentOS 5.2

I am using nginx for file streaming application. Currently I have around ~5000-7000 request per hour. 
But I have problems with reaching more then 600-650Mbit overall output speed.

I would like to know if someone could suggest me best setting for nginx in order to reach maximum output speed (1Gbit) from the server.
