weighted load balancing with ip_hash?

Is this possible by listing a server a number of times in the upstream block?

I have read what seem to be conflicting reports scattered amongst a
number of mailing lists. I also can't really test on my local LAN
because I don't have machines on a multiple class C networks.

I would do testing for one small location with static elements in my
production environment before going full-bore.
