Vary: header in uncompressed response

Hi

I'musing nginx 0.6.32 (Debian stable)

Now that I have found "gzip_vary: on;" compressed representations are
accompanied  by "Vary: accept-encoding".

But uncompressed representations are not. ANd they should be.

Is that a problem with the rather old nginx version or a misconfiguration?
