To add to my previous mail - turns out that mod_rpaf is not always the best choice (as apparently as reported it doesnt work on .htaccess files). So there is some a bit oldish link to a new module for apache2 mod_realip2 which solves this problem http://www.lexa.ru/nginx-ru/msg20706.html rr
