Nginx suddenly causing site.com to go to cgi-sys

Hi we have a site installed nginx when issues started coming up
installed 24 hours back ..
Static content and html served from nginx cache and rest from apache.\
Issue started coming few hours back where on opeing site.com we got
site.com/cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi

Also in case we do a restart or stop nginx site.com gets ok
once nginx starts again above issue starts
Nginx works properly so does all other links and also
site.com/index.html is ok.

Please help
