Switching a Moodle site from standard Apache configuration to Nginx +
PHP-FPM.

Many of the Moodle course static files are loaded in this fashion:

../file.php/50/Logo_SensationalSentences_sm.gif

How do I correctly use try_files and / or location block to rewrite the URL
correctly?

This URL: http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=157382 shows how one
person solved this issue, but it seems that there should be a cleaner way?

Maybe using try_files?

Another person solved it this way:

Thanks if anyone can help.
