nginx erroneously redirecting to https

Hello.
You may try:
SetEnv HTTPS on
SetEnv Port 443
somewhere in your httpd.conf, if you are using apache backend, or:
fastcgi_param HTTPS $https if_not_empty;
for fastcgi.
