Can I use ngix as a SSL encryption wrapper as Stunnel?

I just want to wrapper node-to-node TCP communications among ZooKeeper nodes which uses its own protocol Zab.
I know it can be done through Stunnel. 

Is it feasible to use Nginx?
If yes, can you point me to some document?

For some things yes, depends on what your replacing.
