ABout setting cookie to capture j_username and j_password

Hi,

We are using NGINX as proxy server and redirecting to amazon ELB to access
Agile application. we are unable to access application because j_username &
j_password are not sent with cookie to proxy server. Is there a way to set
up cookie to capture j_username & j_password? Please help
