There are no such plans.
If you really want to use HTTP/2 to non-gRPC upstream servers for
some reason, you may try to use grpc_pass for this. Note though
that its primary target is gRPC, and hence various differences
from normal proxying, including:
- it doesn't use request buffering;
- it doesn't use response buffering and hence doesn't support
caching / storing responses;
- it passes trailers returned in the response to the client, which
might not be a good idea from security point of view.
