Reverse Proxy - Backend via Forward Proxy

Good day everyone,

I am new to NGINX and looking for some help with a reverse proxy setup..
The reverse proxy itself is straightforward and working for myself however
we now have requirements to forward the backend connection to the
destination via a forward proxy.  Is this possible?  The flow looks like
this:

Client to -> NGINX reverse proxy server to -> backend server via forward
proxy

Any assistance would be sincerely appreciated!
