makes it look like maybe your current system could be multi-architecture,
and perhaps you can configure your sources.list to look for the arm64
variant explicitly?

You'll probably want to check your-OS-specific documentation; but it might
be the case that you can use the nginx repository without a reinstall.

Of course, if what you have right now works, it is zero extra effort to
keep it working as-is.
