problem with split log

how to split nginx log  with cronolog , other method?

just as:
           TransferLog "|/www/sbin/cronolog /www/logs/%Y/%m/%d/access.log"
           ErrorLog    "|/www/sbin/cronolog /www/logs/%Y/%m/%d/errors.log"
