Using fastcgi_cache with mediawiki

Hi,

There is sample varnish config file for mediawiki that purge cache on
updates

Can the same setting be used in LocalSettings.php and used with the
fastcgi_cache
with the aid of nginx_ngx_cache_purge and if so what will be the nginx
config for the same
