Nginx for windows in high traffic production environment?

Hello,

I am curious whether nginx is suitable for windows in high traffic
production environment?

http://nginx.org/en/docs/windows.html says
"Version of nginx for Windows uses the native Win32 API (not the Cygwin
emulation layer). Only the select() connection processing method is
currently used, so high performance and scalability should not be expected.
Due to this and some other known issues version of nginx for Windows is
considered to be a beta version."

Is this still the case?

Google searches show http://nginx-win.ecsds.eu/ as a top result.
Is http://nginx-win.ecsds.eu/ performance wise better than the nginx.org
builds for windows, or just a mostly feature rich compile?
