SignatureDoesNotMatch - S3 upload with KMS encryption fails through Nginx proxy end point

Hi,

When we try to transfer data from on-prem to S3 with KMS encryption through nginx proxy endpoint , it fails with error "An error occurred (SignatureDoesNotMatch) when calling the PutObject operation: The request signature calculated does not match the signature you provided. Check your key and signing method".

Our  Nginx version
nginx version: nginx/1.14.0
built by gcc 4.8.5 20150623 (Red Hat 4.8.5-36) (GCC

Please advise right configuration we need to  put in nginx.conf. Do we need any third party modules for aws v4 signature .
